About Me

I started working as a Saturday boy in a local Bakery in Istanbul, I knew that was what I want to do with my career as soon as stepped in the Vatan Bakery.

The smell of fresh bread is the most universally loved smell on the planet, to see the work behind that blows me away. The rest is easy… Saturdays could not come quick enough!

I love working in the kitchen, it has always made me go deeper and deeper, my masters loved the fact that I want to learn everything from them.

I know there is no limit to learning especially in the gastronomy world.

How did you get started in your field?

Working in Durumcu Mehmet restaurant as junior pastry chef was first job that I was very nervous for, but soon I found my ground, in following years working in two hotels for summer break took me on another level.

I love socialising with friends especially if it involves eating out or dinner parties. Enjoy reading articles and experimenting with different recipes, as well as playing Football.
